today is my very first time i scrubbed cases as a sn..
i was nervous, gabra, panic and all the words that is associated with that..
especially when my preceptor told me, 'nur, i want you to assist this case..'
alamak! dahla tak tahu ape benda pun..
but alhamdulilah it turn out fine..
i scrubbed 3 cases today..
all of them are hand cases..
i was glad that the surgeons today are patient with me..
i dont like doctors so i shall not praise them too much.. =p
you'll know their true colours when you have to work with one..
but of course not all doctors are bad..
some are really really really nice..
like my all time favourite houseman, Dr Jonathan.. =)
a humble and good looking dude who respect nurses and is a patient centered doctor..
i enjoyed doing rounds with him..
if only he is single.. heheh..

back to my scrubbed cases, seriously, this is the first time i was so near to the operating site..
all along, during student days, i was always pushed to the corner of the theatre..
i was afraid if i was in a way or i accidentally touched those sterile items..
everyone will be mad if that happens..
now, no matter how much you want to hide at those corners, you just cant anymore..
my time is up.. hehe.. no more hiding..
today, there were so much blood and body fluid..
the way the surgeons made incision is as though they are slicing a steak in a plate..
really takde perasaan punye orang..
for once, i feel yucks!
and our gloves were stained with bloods..

Izzad doesnt want to listen to my stories..
he kept saying 'alah asik dengar story awk je..'
so i had to type it all here..
needed to let this out somewhere, somehow..
