torn into pieces, 10:01 PM

the team did the surgery dengan penuh debaran. we were sad that it had to endup this way. a young girl came in for knee biopsy and kiv hickman line. thus, the orthopaedics and paediatrics surgeons work hand in hand today. they did the knee scope first, send the biopsy for frozen section. we waited for the lab to call the theatre for the results. whenever the phone rings, we crossed our fingers. i was telling myself Ya Allah, selamatkan lah budak ni. Prof answered the call. we waited anxiously. whether or not we are proceeding with the insertion of hickman line depends on the lab results.

when he hang up, he looked at the Paeds team and nodded his head. i swear i saw the change in Dr Loh's expression when Prof nodded his head. yes! its malignant. haizz.. its worst when the cancer cells have spread from the bones to the lungs. my heart drop. when the case ended, i went through the back door. i needed sometime to swallow the truth. the whole incident touches my heart greatly. very well, its none of my business. why get so work out. trust me, when you are a nurse, you'll understand how it feels. no kidding.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
