torn into pieces, 7:49 PM

five days have past and that was FAST which is good because i cant wait to put my plans into actions. hehe. check it out baby..

i have a piece of news to share. 'besides mot, dsot staff are also offered to do their advanced diploma in operating theatre for those who are interested please submit your names.' this turns me on very much. its like ting ting ting. hahaa.

after we finished our cases, we approached Sister and she brief us on this course. first, it will be a bond of 2 years. if there are too many people applying for the adv dip, the nurse managers will decide who to send. second, we will have to go through 3 interviews. they are from the head of operating theatre, director of nursing, NUH and director of nursing in NYP. if more people are applying, the chances of getting in will be slim.

third, after graduation, there is no way we will come back to work in dsot. that means, mot per say. forth, usually they will send to Cardio theatre post grad.

Omg! yes! first, i wanted to work in mot. second, i want to be in cardio theatre. and i applied. =)
we must have at least 1 year of experience. however, Sister told us that she once had a staff who had an experience of only 9 months and she got in. this is all about rezeki and luck.

deep in this heart, of course i want to get in especially when i have the encouragement from most staff here in dsot. they were saying since im new in the industry and i should be in mot so that im able to scrub for bigger cases thus, learn more so why not just apply. if, im unable to get in this year, there is always next year.

however, if i get in, 2008 is definitely the year for me. post breakup blessing. hehee.

some of my colleagues were a little turn off when we were told about having to work in major ot and cardio theatre when deep in my heart, im sparkling. hehee. when we evaluate among ourselves, three of them said that they will ask their husband first. when, i look at myself, i have neither husband nor bf to discuss with. but, i know ive always have my mum to turn to. therefore, the moment i stepped home, i broke the news to her. being the mother who encourage education, she is very supportive about it.

the next step after adv dip will be the bachelor, baby. =)

honestly, if i did not get in this time, i'll be okey. somehow, im hoping i can get in. hehe. its very contradicting but, i just dont want to put in any hopes in this. i dont want another turn off and disappointment. if you get what i mean. hehee.

oh just another thing, if i manage to get in, i'll miss Dr Alph. haha. he wont enter cardio theatre. =)

it hurts.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
