torn into pieces, 8:24 PM

wah! after 8 months i have religiously scrub for Prof. he said i am good. i cant believe my ears when he said that. oh sorry. he said i am very good. hehee.

i was lazy to come to work today because Prof have 5 cases on the list. the team were grumbling yesterday. no one wanted to face him as he is the 'angin' type of person. if you get what i mean. however, i was told for the past weeks, he was quite nice. somehow, i feel that its too early to judge his mood as it keeps changing all the time. hehee.

as usual i scrubbed for his first case. his standard question after he asked for the laser fibre is if i have gotten it measured. i told him i did.
Prof: good.
Angie: Prof, its perfect.
Prof: its puurrfectt. hehee.
Angie: Prof, she have been assisting you for so long already.
Prof smiled and said, 'I know.' (the way he said is exactly like how Ross said in FRIENDS) hehe.

after the 5th case, Prof told the team he was glad it was only 5 cases. Angie told him to make it 3 cases per day the next time. Shaye added, 'why not make it 2.' i kept quiet. there came Janet who said, 'Prof, Ifa said why not make it 0 case next time.' pphhff??sdhbxasbcsa. i did not said anything. haha. we laughed. Prof asked me, 'why are you always scrubbing for my cases.' Angie menyampuk again, 'thats because she works in this theatre.' 'i know. or did she get bullied here?' 'oh yes!' i exclaimed. 'just dont get them bully you.' haha. 'anyway, she is very good already.' wakakakkakakakak.

honestly, it feels great to hear that from him after all that ive went through. i did not have a pleasant time every Mon and Thurs when i first started. each morning, i try my best not to make mistakes and shield myself from his sarcastic remarks all the time. but, when you are out there on the field, even your preceptor cant help much. moreover, he have high expectations which i dont think you would want to know.

this reminds me of how i was when i was 2 months old scrub nurse. since, i was having ups and downs with the ex, it was rather difficult for me to stay focus during surgeries. especially when i had to scrub for Prof's cases every Mon morning with puffy eyes (because i cry a lot at night) after the sucky weekends and the late night sleep. yes! i felt lousy after each scrub. tell me about it.

i guess all the sufferings paid off. Alhamdulilah. time and patients is all i need to feel better about almost everything in life. as time goes by, i learn the meaning to this short life. Insya'allah, i hope to be a better person at the end of the day. may it be dikalangan manusia mahupun disisi Allah swt.

=)

Mardia baca buku...?? hehe. cant believe this.. good that you started reading. its a good habit! purrffecctt! hehee. so when i enter the bookstore the next time, you dont grumble. *wink*

it hurts.
