torn into pieces, 10:07 PM

alright dee..

lets talk about work first. i had a wonderful time today. you want to know why? because, Dr Alph's cases are on the list. =) whole list, baby! well, honestly if he have cases till 7pm also, i wont mind. he is damn nice, patient, calm, steady. after almost a year ive assisted him, i am still saying all these. hmm..

he didnt have any assistant today. thus, all of us took turns to assist him. i assisted him in wrist scope. a brand new experience. one to one assistance okey! hehe. because the team usually come with assistant sometimes, more than enough assistance. he asked me if i can locate the ganglion. so, i pressed on the lump externally and stepped on the foot pedal while he hold the scope and debride it. it is not easy to manage both together. its amazing how he did that. its the same as telling me to drill with my left hand. sheeshh. it was a pleasant experience altogether unlike with Mr Drill Man who needed my help but, do not know how to be nice. thats why whenever i see him, i feel like slapping him. but, not that i care anymore. im cool about it. i just cant work with him.

he bought us pizza! Sister said, 'Alphonsus, if you have no money, i will pay for you first.' we laughed. like hello! he drives a BMW..!! despite the full list, all of us had a pleasant time maybe except for Mr Robert because someone took his trolley away. he was too angry that he pasted a 'death note' on his new trolley. haha.

you know, if only all surgeons are nice people to work with, honestly, i wont mind giving an extra helping hand. just tell me what to do and i'll do my best with guidance please. we nurses only have degree in nursing not a MBBS.

i told Sufie about my intention to work in Riyadh after 3 years here. the first thing she can think of was, 'so, will you be coming to my wedding?' hahaha. well, of course, Insya'allah. kau nak kahwin punya pasal, i will fly back just for you. and that applies to Janna, Mardia, Sarah, Winny and my favourite girls, the important people in my life. oh yes! that applies to you too, Hasan. =) the people at work are encouraging me to go for this. believe it or not, some of them came from overseas before they work here. due to some responsibilities, they have to come back.

im beginning to get confused with all the feedbacks ive been receiving. 'do your advance diploma here first then, go overseas.' 'go Omen or Jeddah lah, Ifa.' 'Riyadh is the best. go for it.' 'are you sure you want to do this? leaving your family and friends here?' 'why dont you consider Australia?' 'the Arabs are big people and they are rough. you are so small compared to them. im telling you, dont go.' 'you wont get to scrub for Dr Alph anymore if you go.' oh! shut up! shut up! shut uppppp! hahaha.

well, unless Dr Alph wants to go private and he offer me to join him. aha! i will forget about Riyadh. =) some had wild imagination like i will marry a Shaik and come back becoming a VIP. hahaa. Insya'allah. but, the first niat is not to get married and start a family in Riyadh. i want to experience working in Riyadh operating theatre. the maximum time i am going to spend in Riyadh is only 5 years and i will come back. single! hehee. but, i like the idea of having Arab look children. confirm jambu! hehe. Ya Allah, makbulkan lah permintaan ini. Amin.

2 more years. come on.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
