torn into pieces, 10:05 PM

its Friday!! wee.. but, dont be too happy because we will be activated tomorrow and today is a bad bad day. hah.

first thing in the morning i toppled my coins all over because i forgotten to zip it up. second, i had some discomfort that i had to rush to the Ladies to make some adjustment. third, i got into the bus and hit the railing on the head. what the hell is wrong with me...?? but when i think about it again, i laughed to myself.

the BEST part of all today, we did an additional case of arterio veinous fistula creation today. it wasnt a staright forward one because when we did on the radial caphelic, the artery was too small and they decided to make the incision further up at the brachial caphelic instead. it was a long tiring, tidious surgery. i had to shake my legs and listen to the music to keep myself awake. just as we were about to estemosis.. BAMM!! he did not clamp the artery properly that the blood splashed ALL OVER ME! the best part of all the two surgeons did not get any of the splash except for Anthony's left shoulder when my mask was stained with dripping blood so are my neck and cap. Thank God i worn the mask with shield otherwise, i will have to raise another incident report. sigh. Winny and Janet had a good laugh at me first before they help cleaning me up. in situations like this, even if you're bathing with blood, operation still goes on. i am still assisting while they cleaned me. the only words that came out from me is, 'this is what we call operation!' i smiled.

Anthony turned to me and said, 'eh! what happen to you?' i smiled. 'thanks ah.' what a day. =)

a year has past, we had our salary reviewed and increased. for once, i am paid an amount i feel that its reasonable. whatever it is, just feel contented with whatever we have. Alhamdulilah.

a year as a staff nurse. hmm.. not bad. i still cant believe im a nurse today. =)

i will be the runner tomorrow. i am very very very tired and sleepy right now. good night you all.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
