torn into pieces, 7:10 AM

i've stop assisting orthopaedics and i assisted ortho yesterday. God! it feels good yet, hey, why are the instruments heavier than me..?? haha.

the initial plan was to do a shoulder scope and repair the bankart. but, we ended up opening it up. since i wasn't familiar with 'opening ortho' surgeries maybe except for shoulder orif, Yap suggested another staff scrub in as well. but, less than 15 minutes after we timeout, she told me she is going to unscrub. out of irritation, i said OK. its not even 30 minutes yet. but, good thing she unscrubbed because i feel at ease when i assist alone at least, i learnt.

today, i will be back to laparoscopic cases. ever since, i lost that hasson, i fear of assisting lap cases. hasson is such a big and heavy instrument and i lost it. i remember vividly i had it on the tray before i left it washing in the sonic machine. sigh. last evening, we lost a ratnell and a jewel forcep after washing in the sonic machine. could it be the sonic machine? i told Kak Norliah that this machine must have eat up our instruments.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
