torn into pieces, 10:44 PM

i FINALLY told the nurse manager about my plan to get a transfer. the first question she ask was, 'why do you want the transfer?' 'because, i want to learn more and assist bigger cases.' 'did you ever talk to any Sisters about it?' 'yes. but, the response isn't so good.'

she sound me about orthopaedics but, i told her, i want to be in general surgery and please do not put me in O&G theatre. my interest isn't in O&G. lucky enough my tongue stuck at the words, 'open heart surgery!' ambik kau.. ive always wanted to be in cardio theatre by the way but, i guess not till i master vascular surgeries first.

oh well. she said she cannot send anyone for transfer now unless if there is someone to exchange with. we are quite tight with staffing at the moment. too tight that Sister have to run theatre. thats how bad situation is right now. so i asked, 'when will that be? 2 years later?' she smiled. 'when my bond is over?' 'so you plan to leave after your bond?' i smiled. 'no point in training you if you're leaving!' haha.

if i am NOT accepted this time, i am serious about getting a transfer. too many rejections just kills me. come on. but, my mum always tells me, 'you've got to be patience in order to achieve whatever you are asking for and becareful with what you ask for.'

too ambitious kills me too. sigh. i hope i make the right decision. Oh dear Allah. I need guidance.

i want to at least have an advance diploma before i start thinking about working overseas.

it hurts.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
