torn into pieces, 8:26 AM

ive been sick and many people that i know are sick too. yeay!! i get sick often and its a no big deal. but, i get worried when i recover very very very very slowly. because, today and tomorrow, i have plans and i definitely do not want to stay home feeling weak and vulnerable while the others are having fun.

ive been having sucky team for the past 2 days of the early week. i am sick here and could hardly breathe through the mask and they expected me to scrub for the bigger cases! very inhuman and you call yourself a doctor's wife...? bloody hell. this is the same nurse who insisted i scrub for the ORIF and i ended up with 4 days medical leaves the following week just because she was SUSPECTED pregnant when in the end, she is not. as for now onwards, whether you are suspecting, expecting when you have to scrub ORIF, you better go and assist. i am so sorry. i dont want to be mean but, some people are just inhuman. being mean always make me feel guilty after that but, my immune system is super low and its time i take care of myself and hence, be a little mean. i think so much about work that people tend to stretch me as they want.

'Ifa can i swap leaves with you?' 'ok can.'
'Ifa, can you take this case?' 'ok can.'
'Ifa, can you take Prof's case?' 'ok can.'
'Ifa, can you take this case. its a hep B and i got a cut on my finger.' 'ok can.'

the worst one is.
'Ifa can you take the ORIF case? i am suspecting. i missed my period.'
'how many days.'
'one day.'
and i walked away.

however, my last 2 days of the week were excellent. although i was groggy and i whinned i wanted to go home all the time, i pull through the two days just fine. it has been a long time since i assisted Prof Peter and it was AVM (arterial venous malfunction) repair. boy, i do not know what is the surgery all about initially. but, i just hit it and it went SUPERB. thank God, he did not pass unpleasant comments. he asked, 'you're not well, Ifa.' 'yes Prof.' 'been sleeping late?' 'nope. i usually sleep early.' so Anthony said, 'makan kuih raya banyak sangat lah sebab itu sakit.' 'eh! macam mana you tahu..?' haha. he must have heard me breathing through my mouth from the mask and sniffing away.

yesterday, we had O&G marathon. Sowmi said, 'Ifa, my pants is dropping.' Janet said, 'Ifa, i go and tie my pants first.' I said, 'my mucous is slipping out from my nose!' anyway guys, excellent team work.

Be in good health first and foremost.. Weigh ermm at least a 40kg.. To do an adv diploma in nursing.. Be an excellent & dedicated perioperative nurse. I want to canoe & rock climbing someday.. To get married! Haha.. Not so soon still..
