I am very grateful to God for many things that happened in my life. most times, i feel that no one understand me better than Him.
its finally Macbook! yes yes yes! Alhamdulilah. I've been waiting for this moment for a very long time. As for the Compaq presario, there are nothing much that can be done. It was the motherboard problem. Not worth repairing but, he wanted to buy my laptop of course at a cheap price. However, at that price and all you see is a blue light when you press the start button..? yeah, you can have it. some wonderful memories with the compaq pres. some nights i cried while blogging. i smile while blogging. i sang along with youtube playing and many others. my pictures. my music, videos, love letters (ehem!), my work, my templates, my writings, my poems. my inspiration. all gone. gone for good. gone like how the person i bought with.
at work, i pity Dr Dale. Our removal of porta catheter took us 3 hours. For such a simple procedure, we took a long time. yes.. why? Because, the tip of the catheter have gone to the subclavian vein. Over time, the catheter have calcified. i pity the 6 years old boy. i pity his mother. If the catheter snap, the most important vein will be thrombosed that will lead to pulmonary issues! That is just how important our vital organs are. The name is already vital. During the admist, Dr Dale was worried. I suggested we do an xray. (pandai2. hehe.) but, he heed my suggestion. We called in the radiographer and Dr Dale suggested that we should call the vascular team in because they are the experts for these vascular work. Thus, the catheter is definitely stucked! We called up patient's mother for updates.
we finally got it out after 3 hours. for one thing i like about the vascular surgeons is that they are very calm, cool and steady when facing a bleeding vessels or arteries. damn calm. so calm. whereas, Dr Dale and i were a little 'panic' i started to give all the clamps i can reached in time. despite assisting a lot of vascular cases, whenever it bleeds, i am still not calm. =) and don't disturb when we are trying to cut a bleeder. boleh kena tengking.
a good exposure for me in handling simple cum complicating surgery. well, i must say, brilliant team work.
people at work have been asking me why and when will i be leaving. very soon already. i am happy that i am progressing to a higher level. whether or not i will succeed, depends on how fast i learn and how well i adapt to a new environment. i won't be comfortable if they put me in a discipline i hope not to face everyday. i enjoy vascular work so far. oh well. whatever it is. wherever it is. i am not going to give up even before i try on any discipline.
i hope i will enjoy my years in major theatre. =)
got to venture this macbook. it is white. very white. very nice. very high maintenance in order to keep it white. i love this macbook! i am glad i listened to my brother in law.
thank you for the birthday messages. although my nose was dripping like no other, i had a wonderful day eventhough i do not really enjoy growing older these time round. can i always be 22...? rata-rata yang messaged mesti cakap, 'semoga cepat2 dapat jodoh ye.' =)
