torn into pieces, 2:00 PM

ok.

while most of us are probably busy watching tv late last night. i was in front of the computer worrying. at some point, i had enough of the terrorist, talibans, penindasan umat Islam, Islamic rights in Palestine, Malaysia politics, Israeli and Palestine conflicts, Iran and Iraq conflicts and lately, the terrorist attack in Mumbai.

what is going on??

my heartfelt for the killing of Mohamed al-Durah who is a 12 years old boy who died in his father's lap after a shot from Israeli's soldier while the father tried to shield him. believe it or not the ambulance driver lost his life by attempting to rush the boy and his father to medical care. how inhuman can these people be? Masya'allah. devastating.

lets have mutual truce...? easy to say hur..

just to sort out this confusion, i started reading about Palestine-Israeli conflicts. i became very keen and interested to learn more about Palestine history. people who knows me knows how much i care about middle east in all form. i never want to know about Hang Tuah or Mongkut or even Hitler because i care about how Islam came about, the historical places of Islam hence, perjuangan Islam.

with regards, i never know about history of the Palestine which i suddenly become keen to learn and find out more.

the Arab-Israeli conflict in modern history is the illegal Jewish occupation in Palestine lands in 1948 and 1967 where they occupied 78% of the Arab-Palestinian lands and established their state, Israel and they launced an offensive war against the Arabs and occupied the rest of the Palestinian lands consisted the West Bank and Gaza Strip respectively. In 1988, Palestine decided to regain their lands by establishing the fighting groups and the PLO. Palestinians accepted a large compromise by accepting the existence of Israeli in Palestinian lands, however demand the Israeli's occupation to end to allow establishment of Palestine state there. Palestinians attempted all sorts of strategies from diplomacy, peace talk to public protest. thus, the Intifada occured. after all that been done, Israeli has not ended their occupation of the Palestinian lands captured in 1967.

PNA (Palestine National Authority) proposed state of Palestine which consists Gaza Strip, West Bank and East of Jerusalem as the capital. this proposed state is not independent yet. a peace agreement was signed in 1993 where parts of Gaza Strip and the West Bank including East of Jerusalem and other areas were given to PNA however more than 60% are still under Israeli's military occupation. like whats the point...?? Israel refused to end their occupations and return the lands, instead continue to expand the illegal Jewish there.

If you see the Palestine map, Jerusalem is located in West Bank which have been occupied by the Israeli in 1967. thus, since then, the whole city of Jerusalem has been under occupation. i felt i like saying this, 'give the Arabs the damn land back!'

if you must know in Jerusalem, there is the Al-Aqsa Mosque. a very important historical place in Islam. Al-Aqsa Mosque is our first Kiblat before Mekkah. Al-Aqsa is where Prophet Muhammad SAW had Israk Miraj and the Muslims are ordered to pray 5 times a day. Masjid Al-Aqsa is very important to the Muslims. if Al-Aqsa is taken away, many of us will protest. for thirteen hundred years Al-Aqsa has dominated the skyline and the life of the Holy City. for more than thirteen centuries, it was a centre of pilgrimage for Muslims from all over the world. but, for the last twenty years, its existence is greatly threatened.

however, according to the Jew, they claimed the western wall of Al-Aqsa mosque is the only remnant of Solomon's Temple which was destroyed nearly 2000 years ago by the Romans. since 1967 until present, the Israel is trying to find any archeological evidence to their claim which brings to no avail. there was a research paper by Jewish archeological researcher, Zeef Herzog, challenging most their tales in old books since there is no any archeological proof to be found. therefore, this wall is originally part of the Al-Aqsa mosque and it is proven to be from Islamic age! hence, has nothing to do with the Solomon's Temple.

"The past isn't dead; it isn't even past." William Faulkner.

there are more to this superficial writings of mine. and i want to read more with regards to this. in fact, i am thinking of going to Palestine myself. =)
